For years, Jim Belushi has hosted comedy nights to ensure the Mill remains a vibrant gathering place for Southern Oregon. A very magical evening, with every ticket purchased, helps us preserve our history—from our 1872 roots to our future commercial kitchen—keeping this local treasure operating for generations to come.

This year’s “Comedy on the Rogue” extends far beyond a single night of laughter; it will be the lifeblood of the Butte Creek Mill’s continued growth and evolution. In the wake of the devastating 2015 fire, Jim Belushi’s concerts and his Board of Comedy turned these performances into a powerful engine for restoration, raising the critical funds needed to rebuild the historic structure, timber by timber, and now, ensuring its preservation.

Previous events have directly financed the preservation of the Mill’s 19th-century heritage while simultaneously modernizing its capabilities. By bridging the gap between Southern Oregon’s history and its future, these events will ensure that the Mill remains more than just a landmark; it continues to be a functional, vibrant hub for local artisans, non-profits, and the community at large.
